Specifically, I'd like to know if you have a source for this assertion below:

You can just say, I don't have a specific source, but I heard it on FOX news, or I read it in a Court document , or whatever. I am not asking for a citation to a news article or a court document, though that would be nice. I want to have some way of judging the veracity of such a claim.

I voted by mail this year because of Covid. I had to show my blank ballot to a notary at my bank, and he had to observe me fill it out at a desk next to his, and them observe me fold it, and place it in a return envelop, and seal the envelope. I had to show him a government issued photo ID, and we both had to print our names on the envelop and both sign across the flap of the return envelop. He had to stamp the back of the return envelop. As a separate operation, I had to complete my absentee ballot application, sign it and send it back to the County clerks office in a separate envelope. I took both the ballot and the application to the post office and had them post mark them while I watched. There is a phone number I can call and check to make sure my ballot was counted, and if not, why not.

See the voting procedure for absentee voting in Mississippi I detailed in my response above. Where I live, it wouldn't be at all easy to submit fraudulent absentee ballots without getting caught. It wouldn't be easy to vote someone else's ballot at the polling place either, but I think the latter would be a hell of a lot less hassle, with a fake I.D. and a cleverly forged signature, to do it than it would be to do it with absentee ballots. My conclusion, having voted absentee ballot only once, is that, where I live, absentee balloting is probably less subject to fraud than voting at the polling place, and neither is easy to cheat at in sufficient number to affect an election outcome without taking a huge chance of getting caught.

Really grasping here Tsing, wouldn't expect this from you. I have 0 doubt if you pulled every ballot, found them and asked the who they voted for, the outcome would be no different. The patterns we are seeing were very predictable due to the fact that democrats have less hubris when it comes to the virus, and in general are lazier when it comes to voting.

You didn't go through anything "piece by piece with facts". You presented your opinion. Which is no better or worse than anyone else's opinion.

No, we end up with Donald Trump and Sarah Palin because you folks on the left push such progressive, unpopular (with most of America) concepts that people with opposite extreme positions are able to get a foothold and viola! Trump.

Nothing I wrote was trash. You may not like it, but that's not the same thing. The fact is that voting with ID is secure, and voting without ID is not secure. Mail in ballots are not secure. I don't mean that they're all fraudulent. I never said such a thing. But there is scope for fraud because - and there's nothing you can say to refute this - there's no real, reliable way to tell whether the person who sent the ballot is the person who was supposed to send the ballot.

What are you talking about? I'm not in court trying to prove fraud. I'm stating my belief. And as far as I'm concerned, I have every right to state what I believe to be true, just as you have.

Again, I've provided them in the thread. Already.

Fred asked me for this, and I provided it. Whether you accept or not is up to you.

This is a secure method of voting. I have no problem with it. Now please go and look up mail in voting in other states - and you will see none of that is required.
