re: title of thread- Uncommon and Interesting psychological Issue Responses to the OP ANK-22 are not reacting the underlying psychological issues. The most likely effect is that it lessens what should be the main focus of the OP, which should be profitable trading.
@cruisecontrol answered your question: it's a business decision. For whatever reasons (and we can easily speculate) it's worth it to them in some cases and not in others. Is it fair? No, but many things in life aren't fair. You feel like complaining? I get it. I might too. After you get it off your chest, though, go make a productive decision and leave this in the past. What should you do? Up to you, really, but as others have suggested, I would go find a better broker. Cut your losses (of time mostly) and move on. Different businesses are geared to serving different segments of the population in different ways.... (Some split their clientele into groups and are happy to 'rip off' those where they feel they can get away with it and keep the other clients happy.) This broker just might not be for you. I think you're having trouble letting go. You want so much for it to be fair: That's tough because in trading there's A LOT that needs to be let go so you can focus on performing your best in the present. My advice is to let go of this broker and let go of the unfairness of it. Try to just move on. Life isn't fair.
i appreciate the answer brother. But the thing is currently they are one of the best brokers in the country and they are willing to refund aswell but only a partial amount. The thing is i can still trade on the platform and I'm pretty sure these bugs will be fixed with updates but as I said i am confused whether i should completely ignore the lag and glitches or should I complain about them? i cant be inbetween , its either A or B. Practically it's a better option to just ignore and think of it as a part of business but i just don't know how should I do that.
re: paranoia Your response reminds me of ET posters who think that brokers are going to reverse engineer their trading strategies.
Bruh you sound like you have stockholm syndrome or battered wife syndrome. You have all these issues with your broker but you won't switch, you won't name and shame them, you contradict yourself by saying they are one of the best in the country, and you are trying to convince yourself that it's all in your head ("a psychological issue")
