There are when you're carrying, and aren't licensed to own/carry in IL, and aren't licensed (and not legal) to own/carry in WI. And, It is a federal crime to cross state lines or to use interstate facilities to incite or participate in violent rioting https://theridgewoodblog.net/it-is-...-to-incite-or-participate-in-violent-rioting/ And, I'd bet there are federal laws against crossing state lines while illegally possessing a firearm.
Note that many of the Kenosha BLM / ANTIFA violent rioters crossed state lines to incite and participate in violent rioting.
Let's ask the business owners in Kenosha who businesses were looted and burned if it was a "peaceful protest". Trying to portray Kenosha as a peaceful protest is idiotic. Anyone doing so it not thinking rationally.
Oh so sexual molesters and felons get publicly executed on the streets now? What do you think will happen to Trump and half his cabinet then?
The video I saw (the first shooting) some guy was chasing the kid and throwing shit at him. He confronted the kid at the store he was guarding. He gets shot in the head and there is video of people trying to help him. The kid gets scared and starts to run and that is when he trips or something hits him and he falls. In that video I don't think there is any question it's self defense. The first shooting, I don't know. The kid really fucked up by fleeing. When I took my CCW class, taught by a state trooper, he said if you're ever involved in a shooting you only say 3 things: This was self defense I wan't to cooperate I will not make any further comments without my attorney present.
There are peaceful protesters; and looters. You can't lump them all in the same basket. My prior post says, in effect, if you have sufficient evidence that rioters did, in fact, cross state lines, then arrest them. @Here4money asked you to provide evidence that rioters, in particular, crossed state lines. Said another way: Evidence that all the rioters weren't local to WI.
