Wednesday’s arrest record from Antioch Police states that Rittenhouse “fled the state of Wisconsin with the intent to avoid prosecution for the offense.”

That hardly sounds like a guy who felt righteous about his actions. You are assuming way too much without knowing the details.

Doesn't matter, righties now love murder, they hate property destruction but murder is good, especially if the victim is black.

A young man, riled up at the news, buying into the idea that riots and looters are destroying the country, believing that property trumps lives, with a high powered rifle. He doesn't go out looking to murder someone, he goes out looking for a confrontation, to stop someone from doing something that he thinks is wrong. He probably wasn't scared that night, but excited.

And there it is - his chance. After hours and hours of waiting, weeks of thinking about it. There is someone he can confront - and he does. And it happens just like he thought it would, just like he fantasied about a hundred times. Someone gave him an excuse to shoot them.

You're leaping to conclusions here and using the justification of "why do people say this when black people do it" in order to try to make it work.

First - I don't think his instagram saying "bruh im just trying to be famous" can be used to hang him with. I generally detest people posting gun stuff though.

There's no evidence he illegally carried over state lines. I can go to several states connected by a border to my state with a firearm and it would be completely legal. My CCW has reciprocity in something like 37 states.

Fraternizing with police is a non-issue. Fraternizing with militia is an issue. I've seen evidence of the former but not the latter. For what it's worth I consider "talking to armed people at a riot" not fraternizing. He obviously loved the police.

Don't you regularly call for the deaths/maimings of right wing people? It certainly is rich reading this especially considering the "ultra dangerous" michigan protest went by without a single shot fired or building burned. Perhaps there's a cultural issue at play here. Maybe the culture of leftism is toxic and destructive and the right wing culture doesn't have the same problem. I think psychologists call what you are doing "projection".

He may well have gone out of his way to position himself where he was most likely to be given justification to fire if it was indeed his own "castle" so to speak. But at the moment he fired was he justified? In the three times he fired from a prone position on the pavement he was justified. That suggests something about what may have happened prior, if there was yet another Biden's Life Matters rioter whom he felt it necessary to shoot. If he broke laws in getting a gun across state lines that he was not license to open carry then bust him for that. The shootings are another matter. Sounds like you don't know the circumstances of the first shooting, and might be agreeing to assumptions about why he went back home. Maybe he didn't think he did anything wrong.

His social media is full of White supremacy & incel propaganda, people like that are driven ideologically, it wasn't a spur of the moment thing for him.

it is a misdemeanor in Wisconsin for anyone under the age of 18 to be in possession of a gun if not for hunting and sporting purposes

It's an issue not the way he acted but how the police acted

"When asked about the video Wednesday, Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth said that in those situations police have “incredible tunnel vision” because of the loud noises — “there’s screaming, hollering, and chanting” — and could not explain why they did not detain him."

So let's travel to another state to protect property? This kid wanted an excuse to shoot someone and of course he got into a confrontation, rioting doesn't get you a public execution, I don't know why you keep defending murder to protect some fantasy property that doesn't even belong to you.

My question for you is despite stated reasons for his being there, was he actually protecting his own person from attack, and/or retreating, and/or standing his ground when all the shots were fired? The last three shots were justified. I want to know about the first , where a Biden's Life Matters business burner was shot in the head.

In other words, protecting a business might be a cover story that would not normally cause any of the open carriers to open fire. The open carry is merely a suggestion that the mob not burn down whatever business they are standing in front of. The carry is to protect one's PERSON should the mob of media induced rioters take offense at the suggestion and seek to harm the messenger of the suggestion. If he ended up protecting his person, perhaps that says more about the mob and their motivational media than the kid.

You've got a kid in possession of a rifle illegally who gets into a confrontation with a man, that man chases him and throws a plastic bag at him and he shoots him in the head. That man and the man with the skateboard were not armed.. Then after shooting him he flees the scene and is pursued by witnesses. When the kid trips and falls three of them try and disarm him and two are shot. One of those men was armed as well, the others were not. It is not justifiable homicide to unlawfully brandish a weapon in public and then shoot somebody when they confront you.
