Here is a good listen from the CDC Director. Have a listen, and try to listen with an open mind. It's 53 seconds, and tells you all you need to know:
No one said forever. It is what it is. If a dirty bomb hit your area, and the authorities said stay inside; I'd be all for you walking around outside with no mask, because your defiance would only harm you, not countless others.
This the kind of thing that Leftists do not want out there for the public to hear. Soon, if not already, The CDC Director will be savaged verbally.
That's a very nice thing for you to say, thank you. But back to the schools, I'm not saying the kids shouldn't wear masks. What I'm saying is essentially the same thing as the CDC director is saying: The downside to kids staying home is greater than the downside to them going back to school. Thus, they should return to face-to-face learning.
Lol, OK, I could have come up with a better example. All that may be true, with respect to kids and schools. However, it fails to take into consideration the affects on kids spreading the virus to other kids and their families; and finally, overwhelming the healthcare system. You don't want a situation where all the hospitals are full, due to covid. Nothing can justify that scenario.
I think the Director of the CDC takes all that into account when he makes those statements in a hearing.
Loserque has a binary mind. He cannot comprehend how this works. ‘If one person may die of Covid...a lockdown must be instituted!’
He is a virologist, not an epidemiologist. Epidemiologists deal with the spread. Just because someone is the President or Director of something, doesn't necessarily mean that they are competent. A virologist doesn't become an epidemiologist once they are promoted to Director. As far as you've indicated, he only spoke about the kids, not how the resulting spread would affect others, or healthcare resources.
