Obesity is ubiquitous (I just couldn't use "widespread") enough, imho, to be considered for a national security risk.
Clearly the good people of Santa Clara are too #@*^ing stupid to figure out what they should eat and they need the All Knowing Government to tell them WTF to shovel into their mouths.
Back when I was a boy, kids would eat just as much junk food as they do now... but very few got fat. This may sound quaint, but we would actually go outside with our friends every day after school and burn off all those excess calories. Games like kick the can, capture the flag, baseball, football, basketball, dodge-ball, sledding, squirt gun fights, snowball fights and more. Back in the olden days, there wasn't all them fancy Xboxes and twitters and what not. So when was this ancient bygone era, you ask? It was called the 1980's.
Go outside? This was before the mass media convinced parents there was an immigrant pedophile terrorist hiding round every corner? Dodgeball? Isn't that too dangerous for children? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6535954 Snowball fights? The police don't like that these days.... http://legalmatch.typepad.com/crimi...rest-for-criminal-possession-of-a-weapon.html http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28798132/ Here is an amusing article from the UK: http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2008/mar/30/children.health If it were not so serious it would be funny.
can't get fat on a carrot, think about it eat all carrots you want you'll never get fat, think about it
Salt is very dangerous. Salt cannot be ignored. Salt has refused to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty. The CIA says that Salt is less than one year away from detonation of nuclear test weaponry. Salt has been directly threatening Israel with destruction. We must act immedietely against this threat to mankind before it is too late.
Yes, that was before we realized that organized sports was counter productive to the emotional state of the children, too much emphasis is put on winning and being picked for the team, losing and rejection leaves emotional scars that can plague the individual later in life.......... I think I'm gonna puke now.......
Salt? Pbbbbt. I can tell you what we should ban - Dihydrogen Monoxide. Nasty #@*^ stuff. http://www.dhmo.org/ And many studies have been done that show an overwhelming number of people favor banning this industrial solvent. Interestingly, one can find the greatest concentration of people willing to ban before knowing much at various libtard get-togethers.
