  2. Note the entire article talked about liver, and no other organs. There is not enough details in the article to tell but it's quite possible that they're using a less potent stem cell. It's great now that they can make as many liver organs as they need to. But this is by no means a substitute for embryonic stem cells.

    Livers are relatively easy because their ability to regenerate. Nerve cells, for example, are much harder and in all likelihood they will need the embryonic stem cells to make.
