  1. Wow....he was larger than any other player then !!
That's the power of having a powerful algo and knowing when and how to use it.

  3. That was total B.S. as we all know.
Nav spent a ton of money on building and testing that algo.
The key was the timing, the layering in the order book, the patterns of reversal orders.
It was all well programmed...with the ability to configure it and to override it.
    THAT'S THE KEY.
Nav's may be one of the most sophisticated algos in the history of mankind.

When he was first arrested, the NatWest guys (who been through this whole process themselves) said he should go willingly to the US on day one.
As then the US would probably go easier on him before his trial, not lock him up while he is waiting, as he would be considered less of a flight risk.
I wonder if his lawyers ever recommended he do that.

Now which jail is the US most likely to hold him when he arrives in the US? Scary.

I mean I can't imagine why he'd be put in "pound me in the ass prison" (in the parlance of our times).

  8. Totally....and is this another "Mary Shapiro" ? :
re: "The ruling will need to be approved by Home Secretary Theresa May before the extradition would be carried out."

No wonder our government has become so dysfunctional !!

Perhaps to deter others in future from fighting extradition....but I agree most likely he'll be in a minimum security facility...

  10. re: "Theresa was appointed Home Secretary in May 2010. In this role she is leading the Government’s work to free up the police to fight crime more effectively, secure the borders and reduce immigration, and protect the UK from terrorism. She was also Minister for Women & Equalities from 2010 to 2012."

Dunno.....but I don't see her of supportive of poor Nav...at all.
All of these government appointees just love the act of conviction.....
Can she make the case that Nav's actions were "terroristic" ?
    Anything could happen here.....
can't wait for her final decision.
