This is basically a money grab / scapegoat con job by TPTB. He's not part of the "club" so they're taking their money back.

CFTC/SEC/DOJ: DO SOMETHING USEFUL FOR ONCE.

You don't remove that bracelet in seconds, unless you cut off your leg. In fact I never heard of a case of a criminal removing that bracelet. The baddest criminals in Holland, killers and the like, get released on parole wearing a bracelet, that tells me that it is effective.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they unabled Nav to access his funds to pay bail. In prison arranging the most simple things can become a mission impossible.

That device in the video is a joke, it looks like a wristwatch, you should see the devices they use in Holland! In fact the whole video looks like a prank.

CME’s Duffy Sounds Off on Gov’t Handling of ‘Flash Crash’ Arrest

CME’s Duffy disputes gov’t case on ‘flash crash’ arrest

CME CEO Terry Duffy is poking holes in the government’s case against trader Navinder Singh Sarao’s arrest in London last week for his alleged role in the ‘Flash Crash’ of May 6, 2010.

On Opening Bell with Maria Bartiromo Duffy clarified some points of the case saying that the CME spoke with Sarao on the day of the crash, but called it “a matter of bad timing, and had nothing to do with that particular day.”

Following the arrest, in a statement the CME said the ‘Flash Crash’ “was not caused by the futures market." Duffy elaborated Tuesday saying the facts are important and the CME “looks forward to working with the CFTC and DOJ to understand their complaint more fully.”

Duffy added “the integrity of the market is of the utmost importance to the CME Group,” and “we will honor that with everything that we have in our arsenal to make sure the markets are policed properly.”

  8. Tracking devices designed not to be unRemovable but tamper evident. So they try to guarantee that once removed the authorities will be alerted..

This is why it's so funny to read ET al the time. Pink cheek toddlers trying to talk politics financial regulations and the world order...

(Reuters) - The British trader fighting extradition to the United States on charges that he illegally contributed to the 2010 Wall Street "flash crash", appeared in court on Wednesday and was ordered to be kept in custody after failing to meet his bail conditions.

Navinder Singh Sarao, 36, who traded from his parents' modest home in west London, has been charged by the U.S. Justice Department with wire fraud, commodities fraud and market manipulation.

At a hearing last week, he was granted bail provided he produced just over 5 million pounds and met other conditions.

"Those conditions have not been met and the defendant invites no further order from the court in that regard," his lawyer Joel Smith told Westminster Magistrates' Court.

District judge Jeremy Coleman said: "You have not met the conditions of bail as yet so I rebail you on exactly the same conditions as before. If you meet those conditions, you will be released, if you do not then you will be back here on May 6."

The date for a full extradition hearing was put back from August to Sept. 24 and 25.

Sarao, wearing a grey sweatshirt and tracksuit trousers, spoke only to confirm his date of birth and address. The small courtroom was packed with more than two dozen journalists.

His lawyers declined to make any comment as they left the courtroom.

I remember Martha Stewart saying that even she looked up online how to remove it... OK, that was a US bracelet, but I am sure you can either remove or tinfoil it while you run away....

I agree with Sys, the best course of action is to pay the bail then skip town. Vietnam is wonderful this time of the year...
