signing this petition. this guy is a 'hero'. spoofing is a part of almost all the algos running in a particular intraday session, fact. now i agree that he might have overdone it but what about the other people, HFT's and Stupid Banks doing it?
this guy has very legitimate reasons to defend himself.
hopefully more info and facts about the current system of trading are ousted , more people will know what kind of a totally imperfect and dangerous system we have.

this is who he sent the letter to https://uk.linkedin.com/pub/joanna-jasina/45/573/732

anyone believe that she would have a clue as to what he's talking about? she sounds like a glorified secretary.

really feel for this guy. he needs a powerful hedge fund to represent him and back him up, otherwise he's toast.

  5. A couple of comments:
    1) Oh, he is definitely "toast": He's in huge trouble with the UK taxing authorities, let alone the CFTC.
    2) How successful would Nav be if the CME effectively stopped spoofing thru modifications of their order matching engine ?

By the looks of it he has shown his tax expenses and other related capital expenditure. even then he can pay some fines and get done with it but the issue with the U.S needs to be thrown out.

  9. Uh...doesn't take a genius to know that some of that 14 million pounds of claimed expenses were bogus. I mean even if he went to the strip club twice a day, he couldn't have blown that much cash in a year.

Nav is using the same technique Tony Blair uses to avoid tax. An offshore company charging an onshore company an administration fee. Futex encouraged their traders to setup offshore companies.
