British Prime Minister David Cameron supports taking the health care decisions away from UK Gov't. bureaucrats, and giving it to family practitioners. Exactly the opposite of what Obama has done.
This is good to know, as all Americans with serious illnesses will now be flocking to the UK for their treatment, as Obamacare has now made America a third rate country as far as it's health care system is concerned.

  2. All they are doing are decentralizing health care decisions and trying to thin the army of bureaucrats that drive up the cost of socialized health care and its no bad thing and long overdue. My sister in law who is a GP in a family practice has informed me that in the end the proposals in full will not probably be implemented as the civil service wonks tend to fight their corner well .

Still at the end of the day we will have a single tier socialized health system.
    :)

  3. ...not to mention Obamacare is nowhere near the British system. The closest analogue is Australia's.
The biggest difference is that Australia, like the rest of the industrial world, guarantees universal access.
