I'm not a big fan of Boris but if you read the UK press, they are giving him the Trump treatment, ie everything he does is horrible. He was asked a gotcha debate question as to whether he would retain this nitwit ambassador and wouldn't commit. Somehow the Brits are trying to paint it as a matter of national pride. They are not taking orders from the evil Trump. After all, they are Britain. LOL they are a third rate little country rapidly descending into true third world status and they are still in denial. It will be fun to watch Trump humiliate them.
Yup, and as discussed, in addition to Boris needing Trump on the world stage and as a trade ally after they leave or if they do, Boris also needs Trump almost immediately on the home front. Nigel Farage's Brexit Party is not going to win of course, but Boris will need their support to form a coalition if he wins. That of course would be the same Nigel Farage who is a Trump buddy and a Fox News contributor. As I said a couple days ago, I agree that Boris has dinged Trump hard in the past but that "Nigel Farage will be helping to broker and facilitate some things." I dont want to make it sound too cloak and dagger and sinister as the lefties will though. Trump has been plain spoken about Brexit, the EU, etc along with Nigel and they are simply advancing their positions with friendly forces within this country and that country. Nothing wrong with that at all.
