I see the dimwitted May government seems to have realized that this episode is a disaster for them and could have dire consequences. So what did they do to atone? They issued some standard non-apology apology along the familiar lines of "if anyone was offended by my behavior" etc. Actually they put all the blame on the leakers, not Ambassador Darroch. They actually defended his right to insult the President of the country their entire economy depends on. Morons. Their Trade Minister is set to make things right by saying something to Ivanka this week. Seriously?

She should tell them as a start they need to recall this Ambassador since he is not only no longer effective but an impediment to relations. Secondly, we will need Christopher Steele's head on a platter, along with his handlers at MI6 who conspired with the Obama administration to meddle in our election. As a start they can spill the beans about who was involved on our side and what exactly was done.

We will also expect some serious groveling, the sort they are so good at providing the Emir of Qatar, the Saudis and Emiratis. A nice gesture of friendship would be to restore Trump's iconic golf club Turnberry to the British Open rotation. They removed it in a fit of virtue signaling when he proposed the muslim ban.

Of course if any of this is too much for them, they can contemplate a future with no trade deal with the US and perhaps the sort of sanctions we slapped on the Russians for their non-collusion collusion.

The wacky Ambassador that the U.K. foisted upon the United States is not someone we are thrilled with, a very stupid guy. He should speak to his country, and Prime Minister May, about their failed Brexit negotiation, and not be upset with my criticism of how badly it was...

...handled. I told @theresa_may how to do that deal, but she went her own foolish way-was unable to get it done. A disaster! I don’t know the Ambassador but have been told he is a pompous fool. Tell him the USA now has the best Economy & Military anywhere in the World, by far...

I have been very critical about the way the U.K. and Prime Minister Theresa May handled Brexit. What a mess she and her representatives have created. I told her how it should be done, but she decided to go another way. I do not know the Ambassador, but he is not liked or well....

....thought of within the U.S. We will no longer deal with him. The good news for the wonderful United Kingdom is that they will soon have a new Prime Minister. While I thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent State Visit last month, it was the Queen who I was most impressed with!

Jeremy Hunt ain’t having none of Trump’s nonsense on this. Now the Brits have a rallying cry right before they select a new prime minister. Smart guy, Donald Trump.

You know who loves Trump’s thin skin, Putin.
