I've been getting the Now 600mg soft gels, taking two a day. Didn't know Vitamin Shoppe CoQ10 was made by Now.

Anyone on any side effects they experienced? I saw vinc mention his blood pressure, but anyone else?
I ask as I started taking it after reading about it here and doing some research on my own. I take a statin at a 20mg dose, which I think is fairly low, and have the impression it impacts the CoQ10 value. I started with a 100mg dose for a week and last week moved to 200mg. I figured moving up the dose over time would help me identify any issues without a strong adverse reaction, if there was one.
Since moving to the 200mg dose I have a definite fuzzy headed feeling, not lightheaded, but a daze and feel sick like before you might collapse. It goes away after 1-2 hours, but has been a bit intense. It starts up within an hour of taking the dose. My BP at last physical was 90/58 and pulse was 54. That was 2 months before starting the COQ10. Yesterday I went to the dentist and they showed my BP at 99/66 and pulse of 46. Never had vitals check at dentist before, but worked out as a good check.
Any thoughts appreciated, or anyone else with reactions(possible) .
    Thanks

Low BP individuals may suffer from orthostatic hypotension. I suggest taking 100mg in divided doses. Say 100mg every hour for three hours. I take 800mg at waking, but I am 120/70.

I'll give that a try. It crossed my mind to do that when I went up to the 200mg level, but didn't.
One other question if you or anyone has a thought on it. Have gained a couple pounds since going to the 200 mg dose also. No, not earth shattering, but I have been pegged in same range for going on 2.5 years. I haven't changed anything food wise, basically the same or similar meals, and no change at 100mg level. 5'10" 152-155 usually, but now 154-156. I realize not earth shattering, and not worried about it, just curious. Also Doc was a little over the top that I should gain weight at last physical, so I guess she should be happy.
    Thanks Destriero

Update on the mom in the opening post. Apparently she stopped all meds (CoQ10 as well) a few months ago and died this week. Four kids.
