Search and advertising giant Google Inc. plans to add “millions of pages” of old newspapers to online archives that can be searched. ...

  3. For those that think this was a mistake,

JAG Media Holdings, Inc. Denies Headline of Third-Party Story As Released on Bloomberg
    Business Wire, March 24, 2003

Same, third party, and Bloomberg, naked short attack. The question is, since this is five years ago, what has been done? Answer - very little. Result, DC in a hissy fit, and the markets in the tank.

  4. why is it a "naked" short sale. If im gonna start a rumor on UAUA to make a bunch of money dont you think id make sure i got the borrow before i shorted?

  6. absolutely not. why? why not just mark the tickets 'long', like some of the biggest did, and save themoney altogether? Or, short what you can get your hands on, and then just hammer the option mm so HE nakeds shorts for you. Or, if it's a layup, short everything you can borrow, hammer the pits, then naked short the rest of it. How do you think a multiple of the float is shorted in some stocks?

why not do it? What do you think you can make over this period of time vs. the fine? And you wonder why we're in the soup?

This UAUA thing is not over - by a long shot!!! I hope to have some stuff tomorrow. but regardless, before the end of the week, we should see something on this. The pressure is enormous don't think for a minute from UAL's home aren't up in arms.

  7. Once again you prove you are a moron.

Whoever caused that story to be run was already short, most likely had a bunch of puts, and from last week if not from before.

    Clueless.

  8. Oh. So that's ok? Get short, plant a story? You just made my case for me. Somebody got short, planted the story. What difference is the time frame? Jesus. you can't be this stupid and walk upright.

Clueless moron. Corrupt clueles moron. and you eat with your hands. Take an ethics course from your local CC.

  10. I love how you call others morons while showing how retarded you are. Ethics course? This is Wall Street, you imbecile, there is no room for ethics. This is capitalism (kinda), where ethics cost money & never bring profits. You don't like the system, don't deal with it. Instead, like the retard you are, you go crying for solutions to the system which creates the problems.

Someone needed to unload a position, that's all. Normally a rumor gets spread, which may or may not, turn into a story by some journalist. Rehashing a 6 year BK story is innovative but should have never been taking seriously by Bloomberg.

It obvious with every other post that you know nothing about trading or the industry. Every week some stock moves due a rumor, 80%+ of which are pure BS and started by hedge funds who need help on their position. This is common.
