UAL puts bought Sep 10, 2001

Whatever happened to the investigation into the record number of put options bought on Sept 10, 2001 (in the airline stocks)?

What was found, if anything?

 

I've been wondering about that myself.... I thought I heard something like they had traced it to the ME...but things got 'messy' and all intertwined with exactly where the money came from and went.

But then maybe I dreamt that.....

 

As in, Middle East?

 

Yeah....but like I said, but don't take my word on it, could have dreamt it...
