Like most Libertards, he's out of touch with basic facts. He claimed in a post that refugees/illegals are a net benefit to America when atm, they're a ~140 Billion dollar a year drain. Not to mention the heavy social cost of illegal gangmembers/murders/crime rate etc.

The worst thing about liberals is they are mostly NIMBY's. As long as they are not personally inconvenienced it's just fine.

Nail on the head. I see it with my parents/family etc. Let them all in, while they live somewhere else.

Liberals are also great spenders of OPM. Let them all in, and let someone else pay for it. How noble.

    Immigration
    Do Immigrants ‘Drain’ Society?

"A new report suggests the question should not be how to keep newcomers from diluting America but how to keep America from diluting the newcomers.

"Two of the most common canards about immigrant families are that they don’t really want to become American and that they’re a drag on the rest of us. But a fascinating new Pew report gives lie to both fears. In the process, it reminds us why immigration matters.

"The study shows first of all that Americanization is proceeding as inevitably now as during previous great waves of migration. Yes, today’s immigrants are Hispanic and Asian rather than European. But that hasn’t made a difference. Today’s 20 million adult sons and daughters of immigrants have learned English, advanced economically, and intermarried far more than their parents did and no more slowly than the Italians or Irish or Poles did a century ago. Nearly six in ten — almost double the percentage of their parents — consider themselves “typical Americans.”

"As for whether immigrant families are a drag on society, the facts are clear. Second-generation Americans—the children of immigrants— are not just doing better than their parents. Their educational attainment and income are actually above the national median. They are contributors. If anything, as other research has shown, it is America that can be harmful to immigrant families: obesity and criminality increase from the first to the second generation.

"So the question should not be how to keep newcomers from diluting America but how to keep America from diluting the newcomers."

  8. Interesting article, thanks for that Ricter!

Finally a researched report giving real facts based evidence; this is probably the only thing of value on this thread, including my own dumbed down posts. Sadly this will probably fall on to deaf ears as the other posters on this thread have no brain to think with.

On a side note, I have noticed that Asians and Middle Eastern parents are much more strict and disciplined on their kids. Their kids do end up doing much better on standardized exams and can be considered more "smart", however this comes at the cost of their creativity. I read that Chinese people come to Anerica to "learn" creativity, and if you think about it we do have many new innovators here that create a worldwide trend. Think Facebook, Amazon (which Alibaba takes the same sort of idea), iPhone, etc. I myself had a lot of pressure to do well and I'm grateful because I learned a hard working ethic and motivation to succeed, but this took a toll on me psychologically until I got away. Many Asian kids with pressure on them lack confidence in themselves until they can get away, at least in my experience, but they go on to do great things.

  9. Hopefully by 2017... (1) Kerry will be nothing more than an unpleasant distant memory (2) Trump will be POTUS, and (3) Trump will be deporting Muslims and illegal immigrants faster than Odumbo imported them.

Asians in America are not a problem. In fact, they've add to the productivity and culture of our nation.

Punk-ass, "in da hood" blacks, illegal immigrant Hispanics and Muslims are the opposite.

Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham Rebuke Ben Carson Over Anti-Muslim Comments
"America is an idea, not owned by a particular religion."
Igor Bobic Associate Politics Editor, The Huffington Post

"It's not every day that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) publicly breaks with one of his fellow Republican rivals for the presidential nomination. But the conservative firebrand did just that Sunday when he joined Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) in rebuking Ben Carson after the famed neurosurgeon said the U.S. should not elect a Muslim president.

“You know, the Constitution specifies there shall be no religious test for public office and I am a constitutionalist,” Cruz said on Iowa public television. He also again declined to weigh in on President Barack Obama's faith, saying it was a matter between him and God.

"Earlier Sunday, Graham reacted to Carson's remarks on Twitter by claiming the doctor "is not ready to be Commander-In-Chief. America is an idea, not owned by a particular religion."

"The presidential hopeful further called on Carson to apologize to American Muslims, arguing that although Carson was a "good doctor," he was "clearly not prepared to lead a great nation."

"Carson caused a stir Sunday after he told NBC's Chuck Todd that he would not support a Muslim becoming president. He claimed that Islam is "inconsistent with the values and principles of America" and is incompatible with the Constitution."
