    Total debt as of 9/1/11 - $14,652,045,000.00
Debt subject to Limit - $14,694,000,000.00

$42 billion left to borrow before we hit the limit. We have about 15 days before we have to engage in Enron accounting again to keep us under the limit.

(As an added bonus, we only have $40 billion deposited cash on hand at the Fed. That's less cash than Apple has deposited along with a handful of other companies. lol)

The economy is already on the brink of collapse again. A terrorist attack, hurricane, earthquake or some other bullshit would be the last thing we need.
