You better watch what you say, or Trumpy will build a wall around Australia...and make you Kangaroos pay for it.

First off, girl at register not going to have to pay the money back, most fast food joints have a three strikes and you are out, second she can go to manager to void the loss as HE took the $20 bucks off her till and it was on camera, third-if you are going to take a job, at very least you should be able to make change otherwise you should be fired. Should I be the one to tell the manager how to do his job? Perhaps he thought they delayed my time long enough and gave me my salad, I said thank you and left, I never go through Drive thru and I go there few times a week for a "Big" salad. LOL And the next time she waited to see if I was going to give her 50 cents then entered into register, people do learn......eventually, like trading.

Did anyone else actually read the report or are you all just regurgitating your biases?

Massachusetts did fine. The US as a whole did not. Lesson to be learned -- copy Massachusetts, which is kicking ass despite one of the earlier posters railing about "lefty government" not wanting kids to be prepared

You must be reading a different report. Here is a table comparing math scores of various countries and Massachusetts. Looks like there are 19 countries ahead of MA, which has a score of 500. I don't consider that ass kicking.

MA is directly ahead of some mathematical heavyweights like the Russian Federation. Room for improvement absolutely, but not in dire straits.

I consider it kicking ass when you note that score along with the science and reading literacy. MA sits directly behind Finland for science and ahead of Finland for reading literacy.

And according to this chart MA is about equal to the Czech Republic, way down the list:
