Of COURSE you had it! You know your body better than any doctor every could. When you get a flu-like thing that is way worse than any other flu-like thing you ever had, especially after getting your flu shot earlier in the year, you can be damned sure you had it. That's how I know I had caught it in Feb 2020. And the only lasting effect was a blocked eustachian tube for 3 months due to the world's worst sinus infection, and a terrible dry cough for the first 2 weeks along with hunks of hork out of the nose. It was no damned flu! Since then...masking up, using hand sanitizer, not rubbing my eyeball in public and washing my hands when I get home with warm, soapy water, I have not had a repeat of it. Easy peasy. So simple...Caves, men and doing things.
Come on bro... do you really think distancing doesn't work? Lets take the most infectious mother f'r in the world. Stand next to him. Stand one foot away. Stand three feet away. Stand six feet away. Stand 30 feet away. Stand 30 miles away. Get my point? Only an idiot would say that distancing doesn't work. Regardless of range, at some point it works. COMMON SENSE. Without you presenting scientific data derived from empirical studies in this specific realm... the argument in your post is absolutely f'ing worthless. It shows a lack of intelligence on your part. Even Cotton Mather would see this. Case closed.
Social distancing is probably the best protection from flu, covid just about everything. However, indoors the distances they put out are stupid. Aerosols travel throughout a room and settle specially if there’s air movement..... central heating or air conditioning, then we’re talking adjoining rooms or building. Don’t touch your face, wash your hands, make sure what you’re touching after that is clean and has been kept sterile. Drag the person who sneezes and coughs in a restaurant or indoor gathering into the street and stone them.
Learned about that in panama some years ago and now bring it back with me everytime I visit to have some in stock here in the house. Not sure they sell it outside of Latamerica but it works in general pretty well.
There's one other bit I'd like to mention about what yer saying there. ------------------------ In an outdoor environment. The most common location the typical person will find themselves in during average daily life is in a supermarket parking lot (in the USA). And in most parts of the country, there is wind on any given day. So if you feel the need to not have a mask on while walking through the parking lot, be cognizant of wind direction, and where the people around you are relative to that wind direction. You always want to be UPWIND of someone approaching. This way you don't have to worry. Or, just keep the damned mask on outside of the car. Not sure what that point was I was trying to make, actually. Something about science?
Yep. I used to take my mask off as soon as I got out of the car. Now I wear it into the car and then take it off. What a relief it is!
Mreh, I was trying to make a real point in there, and it made sense in my head. You don't have to be a sarcastic dick about it, when the common sense and logic make it so simple, so clear. Wear the damned mask and wash yer hands! It's a trite bother in our daily routine!
Your wisdom is (perhaps) without compare Cotton. In more ways than one. That said... I still can't figure out if you're Russian or Chinese though. I'm not fluent in either, so I can't bait ya with some hometown bs... Doesn't matter really. Either way.... your thoughts on Canadian music? Is Rush the Devil.... or is it Neil Young? We need to burn someone at the stake. I say Justin. Albeit the cat has talent. But if it comes down to him or Neil... "Hey hey, my my".
