That only says manufacturing jobs are being lost. That's because of higher productivity, not because the sector is shrinking as a whole. Same as only a tiny fraction work on farms anymore. Doesn't mean we have a shrinking farm sector. Services and the professions are where the job growth is. That's been true my entire working life. That's not going to change, any more than most of us are going back to being farmhands.
