U.S. Considers Expanding TALF to Include Distressed Assets

  1. I think this is where Quantitative Easing gently morphs into Qualitative Easing!!! Yeeeeehaw!
     
  2. CPI already ticking up. Watch the CPI in May and June after the TALF has a couple months to work. Inflation is going to be above 10% annually by the end of the year.
     
  3. May be the only way to get asset prices (homes, equities) to rise.
     
  4. This should could come as no surprise. The morons at the fed think we should jump back into uber leverage.
