Uh yes they did. In the article.
    In black and white.
Also quoted was we would see a 1-7 degree increase in temps from 1989 to 2019.
    Fucking hilarious.
    How wrong can you be?

This is how people respond when the evidence they see is contrary to their systemic bias.
It’s the world of morons and anti-science that we live in.

You're literally the dumbest con in this forum

UNITED NATIONS (AP) _ A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.

He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human control

Okay, we're 19 years past the point of "beyond human control" so what's the point in worrying about it now that we're doomed?

At best the author assumed his audience were adults who could parse context and follow paragraph structure. At worst he intentionally compounded predictions to create a sense of urgency and not clarifying timelines. I'm going with the first, because no author wants to dumb down their writing by stating the obvious.

Your wrath should be directed at your parents for not pushing you to do better in your English classes.

  9. Now...JUST SO WE'RE ALL CLEAR...it is official that there is NOTHING we can do about climate change anymore. This means no point spending any money on it. So whether you believe in man made climate change or not, what we do now about is nothing because nothing can be done.

So it's either true that it's beyond human control, or it's not true. If it's not true, then you can't believe a word the rest of the article says which basically means we do the same thing if it is true.

    Checkmate.
