Crypto is far more closely related to Dutch Tulip Bulbs in investment risk assumed by the buyer than it is to Fiat money issued by major financial powers that exercise very deep sovereignty over their legal tender backed by the issuing nation's productivity, legal structure and the power of taxation. If you were given the option of investing in Dutch tulip bulbs in the 16th Century versus Crypto currencies in the 21st Century, I hope you would have the presence of mind to invest in neither. But failing that, you certainly would be better off in Tulip bulbs. At least when the market failure comes, and you have lost virtually your entire investment, you would have a tulip bulb to plant. It might even grow and bloom.
I invested in crypto in 2013 with borrowed money long since paid off. I will be holding. What did you invest in the last 10 years?
That was an extremely risky and foolish thing to do. But you survived. Now make sure you do not put any more into crypto than your already banked profits. You are playing with someone else's money now. What you are doing is the same thing as the guy who puts everything on black at Roulette and has a big win. But instead of cashing in his chips and leaving he puts all his winnings on red and loses all his gains. The only difference between what your doing and what the casino gambler is doing is time. It may take you much longer to lose all your winnings. But if you stay at the crypto game long enough, you will.
Ha ha ha. Well at least you've not wasted your time reading any of my previous 16,000 or so posts, many of which were on the subject of trading or investing. (And quite a few proved to be wrong!)
Yeah and there's some homeless guy winning big with a lottery ticket. What's your point? You got lucky, pretend it's some genius strategic play and that's the narrative?
Geez, which cryptos were you investing in in 2013 that required you to borrow money to do it? Wasn't BTC dirt-cheap back then? Sub $1?
You did not answer the question. "...which cryptos were you investing in in 2013 that required you to borrow money to do it? "
