I've condemned both. I don't support violent mob rule. You confused highlighting a double-standard with supporting one side of a double standard which I did not do. You don't know that the people who entered the capitol building were seriously thinking they could overthrow the government rather than civil disobedience / protest and to take a stupid picture sitting at a congress person's desk. One would have to be extremely stupid to think that a mob of a several thousand people could overthrow government backed by one of the strongest militaries on earth. On the other hand, your statement about the people occupying the Federal building to bring attention to "black folks" (I assume you meant racial injustice) is also an assumption. You claim that, but you don't know that was their motive. They shot fireworks at the building and attempted to burn it down. They attacked Federal property. Was the guy walking off with a new pair of shoes and jewelry also protesting racial injustice? How about the guy who lit a bus stop on fire? Was that also racial injustice? That was the clip of Waters that I was referencing.
I have an Android phone. Every single news alert I got related to Trump was something negative. I never got any positive alert involving Trump that was positive. No alert about record low unemployment (before 2020), no alert about middle east peace deal, no alert that the Russian collusion investigation found nothing...just 100% negative. If the media treated the left the same way they treated the right, the election would have turned out much different. I don't blame the media though, I blame the average voter. China has to be laughing. I believe the 2020 elections would have been much different had their not been Covid. Who benefits from all this in the end? I suspect China.

Twitter is largely an echo chamber. The people who hate Trump don't follow him. They mostly only follow other people who think like they do. Social media platforms want more users, more viewers, not less. Conservatives are a sizable chunk of the economy. I suspect most advertisers want their business. Shareholders want to see higher revenue, not lower.

As far as wars go, after serving for more than 20 years I happen to prefer Presidents that win them, not Presidents who "stand up" and manage to make the situation they were allegedly fixing significantly worse. How about you, do you prefer failure? Because that's all there is to see if you look at how much the trade deficit with China ballooned under your dear leader.
