TWS wrong password

Does TWS now give you a "invalid username" when trying to login during shut down hour? I tried to login around 11:55, right near shutoff hour, but usually I will just get repeated login attempts. This is first time seeing "invalid username".

 

yes, they do give you this invalid password when they are shut down.

 

YEAH... it's a surprising little fact that most people just starting out with IB don't know. IB goes down for system maintenance every night around 23:30 - 24:00 until 00:30 - 00:45.
