Glad to find this thread. Before I start, please, excuse my English and apologize for the long post. I share the same issues. I managed to make them mild by reducing my charts to only 15 on 2 displays instead of 3 displays coz it seems too much for IBKR pro. I also trade premarket sometimes. What I experienced is that if before the opening bell I restart the trading platform, this action alone seems to make the problems milder but not eliminate them. Another thing. IBKR "PRO" platform cannot handle the huge amount of data especially when there is bigger than the average trading volume in the first hour since the market opens. I tried everything I could to fix these issues. I thought that the problem is my internet connection and I changed my internet provider and also got a better plan with 1gb|s (wired connection), I reinstalled windows 10 64bit than the newest 64bit Java than the newest IBKR pro 64 bit, than went with the IBKR stable version, than reset the settings and start to configure the platform from scratch (wasted time), than chat with support, told them about the issues and asked them to transfer me to a nearer server. I am in the EU and thought that this could be the issue, better to be connected to one of their closest servers. Nothing worked so fare. Since this morning 11 am NY time, the trading platform is mostly frozen, I get black charts, black scanner, black watchlist, and quotes. The only thing that moves from time to time on the screen is time and sales. I have positions opened and no way to watch them. I hope the day will be green otherwise I'l go Taz mode.

If you don't report it, then it will mot be fixed.

To report an issue get onto support and request that a Trouble Ticket be raised for the developers.
If within 1 hour you do not receive notification via the IB message center it means the customer service guy did not report it.

If 100 of us report it, and have it documented and ticketed. They will fix it. Guaranteed. This is how support works.
I reported tws slowness Last week and the service ticket is open on their side.
