  2. Exactly. However, IB MUST START TO COMMUNICATE these "issues". I mean, wow, it can get "maddening".

I open, close, reopen BookTrader before the market
opens. It then usually show all levels. If it doesn't when
the market opens, close it and reopen it again. It should
then be ok the rest of the day.

Forgot to say that I close and reopen BT after the
premarket bids and offers start showing.

  6. Is there some reason you're using build 857? I'm on 874.4.

By the way, just checked BookTrader again, still showing the correct depth on ES and ZN. Time 12:36AM CST. Did the Pope die? LOL.

Reopening BookTrader is the fix IB gives in its board.
It works for me, and I guess thousands of others.
You must have a Java or other problem.

Are you not closing TWS and reopening it? It so, you
are just going back to square one. Try keeping TWS
open and closing and reopening only BookTrader.

Why don't you put this on IB's board. You should get
    a better response.

  9. it's been a reoccurring issue for quite some time, and persistent over a few recent builds, not just 857. mind you this is webtrader i am using and it updates automatically on the day a new release is out.

it's an ol' metaphorical italian say conveying
    something that rarely happens.
