Hello, I have been using IB TWS demo platform lately and have regularly experienced several issues such as : market orders taking over a full trading day to be filled Limit orders triggered but price didnt hit order level stop not filled. I am aware that this is a demo platform and reliability might not be perfect but before moving to real money I d like to know whether anyone has experienced these issues on the real platform on a regular basis. Regarding limit orders, my understanding of these would be that order is triggered when price reach level specified or worse but so far these limit orders seems to behave like market orders more often than not.
