I have a watchlist embedded next to a couple of charts in a TWS tab. Lately, whenever I close TWS and open it again, that watchlist is not there any more upon startup (all charts and other elements are there, but the watchlist simply disappears). Has anyone encountered such behavior before? Any suggestions on how to make the watchlist in this tab persist between sessions?
I have a similar problems, sometimes. Usually when my watchlist is very long, computer is low on memory, or having internet/connectivity issues or IB having issues, or if you force shut down TWS without giving it time to save everything. This can also happen if you trade options and they expire. But if this happens to you all the time then the problem may be different. A possible workaround is to save your whole workspace from the menu bar using File -> Save As. Then later you can try reloading it when needed. I try to save mine every few days.
