TWS API Configuration

  1. Hi,

    I'm trying to get IB's trader workstation setup to work with esignal, and I'm getting complaints that I need to set the "Fire openOrder on status change" option in TWS's config menu. I've looked and this option just isn't there at all so there's no way I can fix it. Does anyone know what I'm missing?

    Thanks for post.
    Have you checked under TWS's "All API Settings..." option? (see attached image)
    Let me know if that resolves the issue.

  4. Hi Brent,

    I installed that link and it works fine with the demo account now. With my IB account it didn't get past testing the connection though, giving the error 'Connection call failed', even though it says connected before that. I'm not subscribed to any IB market data services since I'm using esignal, could that be the problem?
