So why aren't people posting similar to mine and bring up to their attention... Has anyone done this with twitter to ibkr to fix?
People do not complain using proper channels. Twitter, reddit, forums are not complaints and will not be actioned. To make a complaint you need to login to ikbr and raise a complaint with a ticket number. I keep encouraging this, because without this tracking, sla breach and increasing complaint KPIs - IKBR will never understand that they are not doing a great job.
I've done this - even had a remote desktop session with support FYI. They were nice in support & tried, just no solution. Not a huge deal for me, as I just chart using a 3rd party, but if I was ever in a pinch and needed to rely on TWS for technical analysis, sure it would be nice. I get the vibe that IB is under the impression they are offering charting for free, so don't expect much on that side. We are here because they are one of the better options for retail traders & cheap commissions, so I can understand. Executions are top notch and TWS is stable.
Hey... Looks like they fixed it the overlap on the latest but the bar charts are a wack outta shape. some are ultra fat and some are uber thin.
YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! I got a response! "... At this time there is no ETA" for this fix... WTF TWS software coders and developers... w00t w00t!!!! They can't even have the bar charts working right. Maybe everyone is using 30sec bar charts... LOL
Ive done this...but in the end you just get throw away messages like "passed on to developers" then years without any change/fix meanwhile adding stupid features that nobody uses to TWS. Or like I got the other day a simple flat "TWS can't handle what you're asking it to do" in response to my having a lot of charts open. Its BS. I can open double the amount of charts in any other platform and they'll handle it fine.
