Two Tales from the US Gubmint

  1. On one hand, you have a pair of nasty looking cheerleaders in Benny and Timmy, telling all in the land that the great recession is now over and the US is on a path of growth.

On the other, you have forecasts coming from gubmint administrations that run real projections, take this one from the EIA (dep of energy) today-

-"Dow Jones reported today that the EIA said production in 2010 is expected to decline more than originally thought from a 2.9% drop to a 3.5% drop. Consumption meanwhile was revised to a drop of 0.8% in 2010 from a previously estimated increase of .5%."

Why in the hell would energy consumption from the industrial fuel natural gas go from growth of a half percent to a decline of 8 tenths of a percent? A full negative delta of 1.3%?

    Fucktards!!
