OK Sheen is starting to win me over now. He's still a tool but I like that he's taken 'letting it all hang out' to new levels.

He is the king of obnoxious right now. I'm not sure we've ever seen anything like this before. What a show! This guy is gonna end up with more famous quotes than Ben Franklin and Yogi Berra combined. What a show!

    read on Twitter yesterday:

Christian Bale won Academy Award 4 playing a mentally unstable addict. @charliesheen responded, “You can get an Oscar 4 that?”

    :D

  3. He is the most honest man in the world.

Slash said recently that Charlie Sheen is the biggest rock star in Hollywood. This guy is the real deal and makes no apologies for it. I respect that.

Probably those 200+ people who lost their jobs because of him feel the same...

  5. That's BS dude. Charlie showed up for work after all of the drama and was told there was no scripts ready and production was shut down. He was ready to work, but the studio didn't think he could do it. But that's nonsense because he's been doing the show this way for a long time!

Not to mention the fact that he is campaigning for these people to get paid, even though they aren't doing the shows. He was able to get them paid for 4 of the 8 remaining episodes so far.

Blame CBS not Charlie. He didn't all of a sudden become some crazy drug addict partier... he's always been this way, it's only now getting all kinds of attention because of the hotel-hooker/porn star thing that happened a couple of months ago.

He was referring to an earlier episode, not this one. He didn't show up anywhere, because there was nowhere to show up. Honestly, wouldn't you scrap the show (jumped the shark anyway) when your star talks like him???

Had he showed up, we would be seeing tabloid pictures of him: Sheen seen in empty studio!!!

  8. Of course he didn't literally show up at an empty studio...the point is that he was and is ready to work, but the studio doesn't want to do it.

Charlie has been doing the show for years while on drugs, booze, etc. Nothing has changed, that's the point. The only thing different now is that he went on a radio show and blasted the executive producer. The show subsequently got cancelled.

I respect the hell out of that too. You and I know many, many of these rich celebrities party hard. Hell I would. You're dumb if you don't (unless you can't handle it).

I've wondered if I would have the balls to admit it if I was in that position. I think I would too. So I respect that.

what makes him a tool is all the boasting about how awesome he is, and how everybody else is stupid, etc.

  10. He says what everyone else is thinking, but is too politcally correct to say. The world needs more blunt, honest, politically INcorrect people like Charlie Sheen!

And yes, his boasting is over the top, but totally necessary for the entertainment factor. :D
