  1. you right.
    think about it,

  2. use option implied vol to track 1 & 2std moves on the price of the stock -- that is a more robust way to generate an implied trading range. Support & resistance lines don't exist, outside of the concept of sticky numbers (people prefer round numbers), there's no value to drawing lines on a chart.

  3. that was the main use of my system, option trading.
by know the target prices you can build strategies like covered call strategy , covered put strategy ...

  4. why are you using things like ema(9) without illustrating its reliability as a signal? EMA is a lagging indicator of price. Option implied volatility is a forward indicator of price dispersion -- the OIV at delta 50 gives you the 50/50 price distribution of a stock. (e.g. stock has a 50% chance of moving up or down "5% over the next 5 days 1std, and 7% 2std"). I like using a OIV weighted by how in the money a contract is, but the idea is still the same.

If I know the price move given the 1std and 2std, I can do a test to measure the risk of a 1std breach, 2std breach, and subsequent returns (next hour of trading post a 2std breach). That'll help you with risk management (e.g. stock hits your 1std, you reduce position or add, stock hits 2std you cut out).

  6. the contract price make good (high probability) prediction about the movement of the price in the next few minutes.
I am not day trader, I do position, and wait for the price to make a move, and then fix my position.

  7. You can do that by looking at the running average of OIV through a period (e.g. "for the last hour, OIV was 12% annualized, which implies a range of +/- $2.50") and then comparing it to current OIV (continuing the example "current OIV is 10%, narrowing the range of outcomes to +/- $2").

    Bingo.
"Every one use same technical analysis"
    That's exactly why 90% lose.
    That stuff is meaningless.
Go back and apply it to a stock like ISRG.

    But whatever.
So you know how to write code?
What's up with the broken English? From where do you hail and how old are you?

  9. I am sorry for my bad English. ;-)
    I am from Israel.
    I am 50 years old.

So you know how to write code?
    Yes.

    That stuff is not meaningless.
just, no body teach the right way to use it.

    ISRG:
the price is bearish as long as the price below EMA line(orange) and the dots on the
    Halfway indicator(blue) are red.
The price should meet the low target indicator(red line) at level 641-653.
