Most people/organizations that are pro-narrative are anti-truth by definition.

So bottom line -- nearly every media outlet has a bias. The question is 'how extreme?" The more extreme, the less truth.

But of course anyone with a single neuron still firing has no trouble figuring it out on their own.

Some News outlets clearly are biased toward truth. And that's a wonderful bias to have. And thank god for those professional organizations that still exist.

They are limited in number... and Reuters and AP are near the top of that list.

The real problem with new media these days is that nearly every outlet has a bias. You should understand the bias when reviewing their coverage -- focus on the actual facts in the story rather than the "opinion".

Everyone human has biases. Media outlets are run by humans.

Biases, in and of themselves aren't the problem. False statements are the problem.

Biases ought only affect opinion pieces.

An extreme right media outlet can have the opposite opinion of an extreme left outlet, but their facts should be the same. Their interpretations should be the only difference.

The current problems are with outlets that knowingly spread falsehoods as facts.

This used to be a violation.

Guess which side doesn't want a revival of this doctrine?

  10. The doctrine is uselss. What facts are there in politics. Left say this tax plan will produce 500,000 jobs, Right says the tax plan will cripple the economy. There are no facts, just opinions and biases.

FOX even defended itself as entertainment in its lawsuit.
