  2. Yeh sure, it will be like when the Library burned in ancient Alexandria, Egypt, losing thousands of years of knowledge....OR NOT.

Bunch of bullshit. They should do a massive delete/all just to clean up the environment and release humanity and individuals from its past foolishness and embarassments.

As expected Musk failed to follow through with his commitments about severance for U.S. employees; they only got one month. Twitter employees in Africa got nothing. Twitter employees in India got one month. Of course, Musk's claims about two months severance turn out to be pure horse manure. It's not clear if Musk plans to meet the requirements of the WARN act.

For comparison purposes, Meta is providing their laid off employees four months pay minimum, benefits continuing for many months, and payment of all owed bonuses & equity.

Elon Musk failed to give laid-off Twitter employees previously promised severance packages, lawsuit alleges

    • Laid-off Twitter employees are suing the company saying they were promised a range of severance benefits.
    • The lawsuit says they were assured these benefits would hold after Elon Musk bought Twitter.
    • However, recently laid-off employees say Twitter reneged on the promised severance pay.
Laid-off Twitter employees suing the social media platform say the company — now owned by Elon Musk — reneged on previously promised severance benefits.

Five employees — who filed a class-action suit against Twitter on November 1 — now say they were promised at least two month's severance pay, bonus plan compensation, cash value of vested Twitter equity, and healthcare coverage, but these promises were not kept when Musk laid off about 3,700 staffers on November 4.

The fresh allegations were made in updated court filings to the San Francisco federal court on Tuesday, which were also seen by Insider.

According to the Tuesday update, Twitter's management previously said at several all-hands meetings, wrote in a recent FAQ, and stated in a merger agreement that employees would get at least the equivalent of the originally promised package if they were laid off after Musk acquired the company.

Twitter employees "reasonably relied" on this promise in the weeks leading up to Musk's purchase and chose not to look for jobs elsewhere, the lawsuit shows.

However, Twitter later told employees affected by November's mass layoffs that they would only get one month's base pay after their termination, the updated lawsuit alleged.

This claim appears to contrast a November 4 tweet from Musk, which said that all exited employees were offered three months' severance.

A couple of things I want to mention in this thread...

First of all, what the hell do you expect from a savant with Asperger's? The very definition of that disorder (Asperger or ASD) is someone who cannot cope with people, and sharing with people, and empathy for other people. That is Twitter's main focus. Not a good mix. So Twitter is going down into the dumpster fire. Was nice knowing you, unless some other savant without a retard disease comes and buys it from him for 200 million of some insane lowball price.

Second, who the hell cares? The world will survive without Twitter! My GOD what the hell has the world come to that Twitter is so important?!? How did the world function before the Internet?!? OMG! Vast records of human history?!? WTF is that supposed to mean?!? I guess books no longer exist @gwb-trading (Not to you, but to the author of the headline you posted).

    Big deal.

Here it is again -- the one and only issue I care about in regards to Musk taking over Twitter.

Don't worry about it. Once Twitter fails, he'll just spend some more money on his latest project. A huge electric bird that can bore into the earth to make a tunnel for a trip from Miami to NY and run on not-flames.

And these people installed by Musk want us to trust them with our data.

Why am I not surprised that the people put in place by the guy who sells exploding cars, has to beg fired employees to come back and has driven advertisers from the platform can't send a properly set up email?

Is it amazing or is it coincidence or is it from God, that so many GOP supporters have a screw loose. They seem to lack basic common sense.
