Twitter and Musk

  1. Well, yeah, Elon Musk knows he's a lot smarter than Trump. Like anybody else he's not always right, but he likely has a higher IQ than anybody who's ever posted on ET. What's funny is at the end Trump was patting himself on the back for having a conversation with him. Elon Musk is making Trump feel smarter than he is by having a dumbed down conversation with him and he's like, see, I can talk with a genius, Kamala/Joe can't do this. It's pretty funny.

Basically the X platform DDOSes itself every time they attempt to host a large video meeting. First, the platform is not built to scale to support large meetings. Second, they attempt to admit everyone in the waiting area at the exact same time. The platform needs to admit people into the meeting from the waiting area in limited groups in sliding time windows in order to have any success. Admitting everyone at once simply performs a "self DDOS " of the particular meeting. Fortunately this does not take down the rest of the X platform.

Yeah I read that the other day, before the interview. That the EU threatened Elon over what Trump "might say."

I mean when I read that, I thought to myself "Wtf is that about?!!!!"

Folks, you have to step back and absorb what is going on here.

I'm not even gonna go on about this, because I could type for an hour over why this is so f'd up.
God I hope we don't become like Europe.

I had C-Span on that day in the background for white noise... and I assume it was an American reporter, he sounded American, ask Jean La Croix (whatever her name is) in an official WH press briefing .... and this was BEFORE the sit down..... he asked in reference to that night's Elon/Trump sit-down.... "What does the White House plan to do about this?"

I swear to god... I heard that.

    This was a "journalist"!!!!

Whatever. Why do I even bother.
Ya'll are blind to what is going on. And it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Trump. :banghead:

When journalists are asking for White House aid in silencing an interview between the world's richest man and a former United States President....

Democracy is in peril alright... but it's not from f'ing Trump.

Which one of you clowns is going to debate me on this?

trump is known to lie about everything.
He is influential and his lies have gotten many people killed and created a mistrust in important institutions where there hasn’t been for a long time.

I am sure the whitehouse had a plan to counter those lies if he were to make them. It’s not unreasonable for the journalist to ask about them.

I'm not going to do a whataboutism here, but they all lie. Joe said inflation was 9% when he took office. That's a lie. There's dozens more, but that is totally not the point.

He didn't ask some banal question regarding the Administration's thoughts on the matter, his question was more like "Are you actually not going to stop this?" His premise being "election misinformation."

KJP should have flat out said "That's not how things work in this country, the WH can't shut down a public interview, regardless of who it is. We may not agree with their opinions, but Mr Musk and former President Trump are protected by our Constitution. Next question."

    This is not debatable.
