Quite an amusing take --- and devoid of reality. The BBC reporter simply decided not to challenge Musk's continuous false claims and moved on in the interview to other topics. As always Musk was shoveling bullshiat.
This is what all news outlets should do. NPR suspending Twitter use over "government-funded" label https://www.axios.com/2023/04/12/npr-twitter-government-funded-label
What a fine portal Twitter 2.0 is... so secure. Elon Musk's Twitter leaks users' secret nude photos to the public Twitter users are reporting private nude photographs of them showing up in the public For You tab, raising concerns about the privacy of Twitter Circles https://www.tweaktown.com/news/9102...s-secret-nude-photos-to-the-public/index.html
Elon needs to fire more people. He is still dependent on a lot of the riff-raff and perverts that pervaded the lefty culture cabal there. But is hard to move to fast because that has its own issues. But clearly he needs to take out several more waves of trash. Then you will diss him for that.
It is due to Musk's firing of competent people that that Twitter is not secure and has outages nearly every day.
Just the cost of change. It is not for the weak-kneed. Keep moving the trash out. And bringing in your own people. Elon going to build a great platform. And there will be lots of blood on the floor along the way. Go work at the Post Office or the Department of Motor Vehicle like GWB if you don't have the stomach for it.
"Bringing in his own people". Please show us an example of someone who started working at Twitter 2.0 (besides from the clowns Musk brought in from his other companies). Bottom line -- no reasonable software engineer wants to work on Twitter 2.0 for Musk. He is basically unable to hire competent people from the outside at this point -- no matter how many people his recruiters try to call.
