That's your racism talking. You see what you want to see, and it bothers you deep down. So what. Grow up and learn to respect other people.
Advertisements are known to reinforce the convention or the norm, in order to appeal to a wider audience. It’s a welcome sign to see them break away from the usual.
Thankfully we are getting to the point where the racism some people on here express quite freely is becoming socially unacceptable. A little slow though on here and in parts of the US. You have to carry some pretty deeply ingrained racist beliefs to be bothered by the appearance of mixed couples in commercials; stats show that minorities still have less presence in media then what occurs in real life, but it's changing rapidly and some people are having trouble adjusting to it.
“Stats show”. LOL Black people make up 13.4% of the U.S. population. In what fairytale land do you honestly believe that only 1 out of every 10 people in media are black??
