I forget what the exact rules are regarding this and I am not interested enough to look them up myself. But if someone reports a violation to the SEC, doesn't that person get a 10% reward of any money or fines that the SEC recovers or collects in regards to that reported violation? So if the SEC disgorges profits and fines from Tuco for a million dollars, is the person who originally reported against Tuco and started that whole mess going to get 10% which would be $100k?
