What race ? $4.75 rt for X_Trader ?
do ib now offer x trader? surely not.
It´s a GFETC offer, see announcements. New accounts only.
Although IB still has that Java monkey on its back, IB is miles ahead in platform independence and user information.
Take a look at their respective websites. Beats any further commentary:
click: SOFTWARE -> FIX-API

Forums? Who is using what?
I would love to see TT come up with something comparable. At least, we would have a choice.
IB is a brokerage and TT is a software company. It's like comparing apples with oranges!
tt of course.
around 50% of the worlds futures volume passes over tt servers.
how can tws compare with that? a handful of retail traders who put up with bad service thats who!!
fred, for whatever reason you've always had an axe to grind against IB. Those "handful of retail traders" you mention above happen to pass over 400,000 trades through the system per day. As mentioned by a previous poster, TT is software, IB is a broker.
Not really. We are talking software in this thread.
