TT vs. Ninja

  1. I have used Ninjatrader for many years now with very minimal problems, but I ONLY use Ninjatrader for manual entry/exit discretionary trading (NO ATS work). I can use Ninjatrader for fast action scalping or longer term position trading without any issues and I do like the Zenfire data feed (I DO NOT use TT Fix Adapter feed....does not work at this time for proper bid/ask based volume calculations). I do think NT will expand their capabilities and resolve users issues with the new version 7 which is a move in the right direction. I have heard that "lookback" capability may be just around the corner too for those wanting to use Zenfire data for bid/ask volume computations......now that will be a HUGE improvement if they actually add that much needed feature soon.

I have used XTrader 7 for ATS work only, but I am now getting ready to move all the semi and fully automated trading I conduct over to TradeVec. TradeVec is still not yet widely known, but I like what I see so far as an alternative to the higher cost XTrader7 (for those looking for more of the "automation" type capabilities).

  2. Is the faster speed on ZF over TT useful if not scalping?

What type of risk control is available from Zenfire? From what I understand they do not allow you to set your own max loss limits/higher margins to protect capital other than what the broker does.

What is the $600 fee on ZF? Have not heard of this.
