Hi, If anyone uses the TT Fix Adapter, a little help would be appreciated. How do you communicate with the adapter from eg. C# code? You send it emails, or what? It may be a dumb question, but I am just unable to figure it out and it's getting on my nerves now. There are all sort of message descriptions and reference manuals and administration and all, and it may be my fault, but I found zero info on this one. Thanks for any advice in advance. ktomi
I am not sure but the way of communication may be direct TCP messages. In case anyone else was wondering...
Look into open-source library, quickfix http://www.quickfixengine.org/ still it takes time even for a programmer to get familiar and run code...
Thanks for this, it looks like decent stuff. However, I decided not to hassle with FIX for now, I don't need that complexity.
Yes there is no need in complexity for non-automated trader. There are ready-to-use third party GUI which allows you to trade and automate systems for TT. For example Ninja works over FIX protocol with TT. Also I used to work with OpenQuant.
go to the source. tt has a website dedicated to development support. http://devnet.tradingtechnologies.com/DevNet/Downloads/GettingStarted.aspx http://devnet.tradingtechnologies.com/DevNet/ProductCenter.aspx
