  1. The bullish move seems to end n probably we will see 50% retracement but keep an eye if bulls manage to push the breakout level 287.95

  2. Earnings are actually ok, though now is probably not the best time to be bullish on Tesla.

  3. That's true, getting along with Trump is much better than trying to fight him.(I mean for the company.)

    Drewstetter from SA:

"Tesla is actually a financial company. Its not a tech company or an auto company. Similar with SolarCity ... a financial company ... even more so.

Future-earning pyramidal financing (FEPF) is a business dynamic characterized by the act of raising capital to finance future losses rather than future returns. The assumption in this dynamic is that the future losses will be covered by a second capital raise (similarly pyramidal) which will allow some investors to exit profitably, although many will reinvest and / or accept losses.

When properly recognized, managed, and regulated, FEPF can be a sustainable arrangement that operates within both the spirit and letter of the law. Examples may be found in the realm of public services, non-profits, and social service programs. However, when performed maliciously with intent to defraud, FEPF forms the dynamic underlying illegal Ponzi, pyramid, and matrix schemes. Aggressive cash-negative growth ventures that rely entirely on profitability at scale occupy a dangerous middle ground where delusion often substitutes for malice.

Could it be that Elon Musk is actually delusional and not aware he is running a Ponzi scheme? All Ponzi schemes end at some point.

The SEC explains nicely "Why do Ponzi schemes collapse"?

"With little or no legitimate earnings, Ponzi schemes require a consistent flow of money from new investors to continue. Ponzi schemes tend to collapse when it becomes difficult to recruit new investors or when a large number of investors ask to cash out.

Where was he wrong? SCTY is a mortgage company that accidentally makes solar roofs too. TSLA is a tech company, that sells, well, stocks....

I think @Pekelo has got a point there...

But wouldn't something like Snapchat be more of a Ponzi scheme? I don't even think they are trying to make money... while Tesla eventually will progress into making money, if the business survives etc.

Amazon didn't make a profit for years.....
