  1. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...cash-payout-for-920-million-bond?srnd=premium

Holders must decide Wednesday if they would rather convert to equity or receive cash, and it’s unlikely they’ll opt for stock. Based on the trading of Tesla’s shares in the last 20 days, if a holder decided to convert their investment to stock, they’d receive a conversion value of $850 between cash and shares, instead of the $1,000 par value at maturity that Tesla would pay out fully in cash.

I think that the confidential SEC filing he did was another loan in Junk Bonds... Isn't a Public Company by law supposed to show it's investors any new debt it takes on tho ? If they have to pay the 920 million in cash without more debt, they won't be able to operate by middle of this year I believe

If it's all cash payment, Tesla is unravelling quick

"taking to Twitter again, with his latest posts hinting cryptically that Tesla will have news to share Thursday at 2 p.m. in California."

Oh boy. My guess is that it is about how they repaid the bonds and the stock would go up $15...

  4. I think he is unravelling quite fast... Look at his twitter account, he changed it to Elon Tusk with a elephant sign, and look at his posts in past 24 hours, his last 4 pictures posted. Either his twitter got hacked, or buddy is on his way out of being a CEO of a public company

This is a meltdown, his pictures and comments are space cadet mode

Doesn't the video that you posted from Chanos say exactly this? To everyone it sounds like he's crazy, but perhaps its all just a well orchestrated exit from Tesla. It wouldn't look good if he exits as a result of free will, but if he is pushed out, well, that is perhaps better for Tesla all around. My guess is that its all carefully planned.

Yup, Chanos said he believes Musk wants to be at Space X. Given how he thinks colonizing Mars is the most important trajectory for his life, I think its a slam dunk.

Tesla probably cannot be profitable selling a 35k car, if it ever comes out, and there is so much competition now, and in the next year or two, that they probably are in serious trouble. His work is done there.

  8. They are at the bankruptcy part, it's past the trouble part... If Tesla has to pay the 920 million bond with it's cash, given the accounting bullshit they do, writing refund and returns money as cash-flow and peddling fiction in earnings, they will not have cash to continue much longer in 2019. If they go back to Junk Markets, they will pay 10 %+ yields, and at that point it's pretty much over for Tesla. Competition has ghosted them in every aspect with sales slowing down in 2019. I guarantee if they don't get another loan shortly, they are gonna have an announcement coming out that they do not have sufficient cash to continue operations at some point in 2019.

Tesla has engaged in Tax Registry delay scam, a lot of reports on refunds for returns taking months to be received, mass exec turn over, pure fiction with earnings and accounting... A healthy company doesn't need to do that, only a company on brink of collapse. Companies fail all the time it's business, nothing to be ashamed of. I don't get people who are so against the idea that Tesla can't fail. Tax buying incentives are done, which means lower sales and world consumers are in recession, much lower earnings in times where they will need it the most due to Global Corporate Debt Levels. Well, whatever we say here doesn't matter and the stock recovered nicely and more. From 290 to 315, no matter what Elon's twitter title is.
