That's what I was thinking. I just don't know how long it can hold at $320. Musk will probably not be announcing a capital raise within a few days though, but I am expecting big swings up and down the following days and weeks.
Naaa.... If he's gonna raise cash, that'll certainly be addressed tonight in the CC. Even he ain't that f'n crazy.
There is a small gap around $330. I wonder if that's going to get filled in the next 5 days. Anyone expecting TSLA to go higher than $330? Looks like $330 will get taken out in AH. See if the spike can hold tomorrow.
Tesla Profit Tesla just reported its third quarterly profit in its 15 years of existence, and the first since 2016. Analysts expected a loss of 3 cents per share, but Tesla posted a profit of $2.90 per share. So Elon Musk's Model 3-based assurances are looking good now, and the firm's share price is up 15%. I was right on price (the most important thing), but wrong about the ZEV credit. There are 2 things fishy about the numbers, the Accounts Receivable and the OpEx (strangely inverse correlation to production). I wouldn't be surprised if there was heavy cooking or pushing out into the next quarter shenanigans, the filing will tell. Interestingly, they didn't gloat about the really good numbers during the earnings call, instead they talked about boring workers' safety and such. Strange... Price is down to 308 after hours...
Would you believe him? I wouldn't. Look at past records. He's probably hoping momo traders, Tesla fans and cultists will help push the stock price north of $360 based on Q3 result so that the convertible bonds can be taken care of with stocks only. I think the chances of that happening is slim, even in a flat or slightly rising market. Now that market correction is here (which may indeed be the start of a full blown recession), I think capital raise is a matter of time.
