Oh I understand desperation. But from a supposedly smart guy, who wants to be pitied and whining about short sellers, in a friendly article, how on Earth he thought this is somehow a good idea? And of course no regrets, he would do the same and giving up tweeting? Who are we to dare to give him good advice???

You would think his lawyer at least read the article before publishing so there would be no self incriminating stuff in it...

Anyhow I expect the stock bottoming just above 300 and in the next 5-7 days bounce up to 330...

I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he covered his ass by running it by his legal team.

  7. Cannot believe TSLA hasn't hit $302 and close the gap.

Good thinking, but a difficult job for the lawyers given all those threatening tweets from months if not years ago. The insanity claim would have to stretch all the way back to be consistent. What about those directors? They would be negligent, or grossly negligent, in which case it would be a relatively simple routine for plaintiff attorneys to go after their assets. In fact, as the case stands now, I suspect the plaintiffs will go all out to drag the BOD and perhaps Saudis PIF into the suit. Tesla is broke. Gotta go after those who can pay. If the law firms are as good here as in their previous home run victories, Musk and all the BOD members might suffer temporary insanity for real when the judgment is announced.

Perhaps an attempt to contaminate the jury pool -- seek sympathy now and work the media to paint a picture of a hardworking, good-intentioned, but hapless CEO caught in a streak of bad luck?

Not much for choice really because no reasonable jury would believe, after looking at the evidence, that Musk was thinking about anything other than to burn the shorts.

Don't forget the lawsuits filed by two whistleblowers.

Elon Musk's nightmare has just begun.

Guess it's clear now that you are the clueless one here?

I would love for the SEC, EPA, OSHA, FTC, NHTSA, ECT...To do a joint effort and go into the factories in NV and California. Also look at the airport in Burbank and the Lathrop site. Ask some tough questions. I would also like all these government agencies to look and see what is stored in the trailers on the Nevada site?? Inquiring minds what to know!!
