Flint, oh my... There is nothing technology specific about the Flint problem. We have been digging ditches for 200 years at least. Except throwing money at them, I don't see how they could help. maybe he could offer some of Tesla's profits. Oh wait... On the other hand, we have an high iron content problem in our well, Elon, don't hesitate to call me... Had I been drinking it, by now I would be the real Iron Man!!!
People who have huge problems can develop a behavior that makes them help other people, just to run away from their own problems. I know that in psychology there is a name for that behavior, but unfortunatelly I am not a psychologist so I don't know how this behavior is called. Musk has this behavior: He wants to help Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. He want to solve traffic problems in LA. He wants to save Thai children in a cave. He wants to help Flint residents with their water problem. Maybe Musk should just focus on his own problems: fix the endless list of problems at Tesla.
Let me guess? You are a Tesla believer? Must be if you make such a stupid remark. The list is endless and still not solved. We are waiting the next catastrophy anywhere on earth so that Musk can send help again. 2019 will be the start of the wipe out of Tesla by real car makers who will take over the EV market.
It couldn't possibly be a sealed capsule, Elon has a degree in Physics after all....the buoyant force on it would make any attempt at passing it through those caves impossible. Which begs the question, if it's a flooded chamber, it needs oxygen masks, which then makes it useless since the divers could just drag the kids under water w/their own supply if it was that simple.
Musk on the move. Tesla will open a "gigafactory" in Shanghai, with an annual production capacity of 500,000 vehicles. The production facility will be the EV maker's first factory outside of the US and only its second in the world. The plant, which has been in the pipeline for a year, will be China's first foreign-owned auto manufacturer. Following the Tesla deal, Shanghai authorities announced they would expedite the removal of restrictions on foreign investment in the auto industry. Fortune
The mask of musk falling off? One of the divers who saved the Thai children in the cave, wrote a very negative report about Musk and his "submarine" that seemed to be unusable because of the passages that where too narrow. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-07-...ays-elon-musk-mini-submarine-pr-stunt/9995624 This was the answer from Musk( tweet was quickly deleted but people catched screenshot and the harm was done). Tesla received already a number of cancelations of orders:
