I was reading some stuff elsewhere. Would have called the same before noon, based on the 5-day, 5-minutes charts, including DIA, SPY, some others (the pattern was already quite indicative by then based on some previous patterns, and that's why I bought the second round of Puts), and my feeling about it after the latest round of news. It's a matter of luck for the most part anyway. But I do believe the Tesla Team tried to move it up.
LOL EM twitter short shorts song https://www.cnbc.com/2018/06/26/ele...vail-despite-oil-industry-misinformation.html Pumped misinformation...for the now misinformed.
So the quarter is over and news organizations clearly have access to at least 3 employees, why are they not asking for what the final figures were? Like continue the fine reporting...
I am trying to be 100% neutral here, but 4500 new potential lawsuits hitting the street each week would make me nervous. Right or wrong, you could have a single Ford Fusion catch on fire and it would not even make local news.... but one TSLA and its headlining that days/week national news-cycle. This push to 5000/day with Elon sleeping on the floor might sound great right now, but I suspect further down the road that is going to be major chum in class action lawsuits. Again, right or wrong, it is what it is. Lawyers love that kind of stuff. Q/A will be a big issue, and heaven forbid anyone die in another fire. Rushing to put 5000 vehicles/week on the road with minimal Q/A is asking for trouble imo. Not bashing the stock... just stating the facts from a manufacturing standpoint. These are very complex vehicles and there's a lot of room for even the most minor of things to go wrong. The press will be all over each and every story. Thats just the way its gonna be for TSLA going forward.
I think they will make the numbers, even if it is just one day of 700+ cars. The street will get an orgasm and price will go up 20-30 bucks. A short squeeze is still in the works so it could go up to 410-430 but that won't last. History shows these kind of squeezes last not more than 2-3 weeks. Once they are there they might issue new stocks and that would bring the price down again.... Here is the tent (Sprung structure):
Well...about the 5K/week thingy: Also: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...-after-deadline-factory-sources-idUSKBN1JR1WX "Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) nearly produced 5,000 Model 3 electric sedans in the last week of its second quarter, with the final car rolling off the assembly line on Sunday morning, several hours after the midnight goal set by Chief Executive Elon Musk, two workers at the factory told Reuters."
